Paragraph on flowers to boost our writing for school

Until now we have focused on sentences about flowers, but now we will look at some writing, first, in the form of a paragraph on flowers. Feel free to use this as inspiration for your own writing projects.

Today I’d like to talk about what flowers mean to me, and also what types of flour I especially like. Also, I’d like to mention my plans for growing flowers in the future! To me, flowers symbolize beauty, the cycle of life, and nature in general. I think that most people would agree, that flowers are beautiful. The colors on the shapes of the petals inspire wonder. That’s what they mean to me. My favorite flowers are tulips, roses, daffodils, and bougainvillea. To me, they are all unique and have certain aspects which make them very beautiful. For example, roses have a sweet deep smell. And daffodils have a striking yellow hue and pattern to the petals.

I am a keen gardener, so in the future, I would like to have four flowerbeds surrounding my green lawn. In each bed, I would like to have a different type of flower growing. Most probably, the flowers mentioned above that are my favorites!

Essay on flowers to boost our writing for school

Next, we will look at an example short essay on flowers. Bear in mind, this is a very short essay and can be used as a template. Many of my students have to write much longer essays than this, but occasionally they get short ones.

I would like to discuss flowers, and the feelings they inspire in me. First, I’d like to talk about roses. Although roses come in many colors, my favorite has to be red. To me, it is the quintessential Rose. When I smell roses in the morning, I feel a sense of relaxation. I can’t imagine having a garden without them! As mentioned earlier today, another of my favorite flowers is the daffodil. To me, daffodils bring a feeling of new beginnings. I think this is because daffodils usually bloom in spring, where I live. Spring naturally evokes feelings of newness. Another flower that I love is the bluebell. Where I live, they grow all along the hillsides, in early spring. These flowers evoke nostalgic memories in me. When I was young I used to go hiking in the hills nearby my house and was always surrounded by bluebells throughout spring. Therefore, when I say bluebells I have a sense of calm and relaxation.

To summarize, I feel like flowers have a very powerful impact on us. They aren’t just decorations. The shape, form, scent, and time in which they grow influence us all, in my opinion. I think that growing flowers brings a sense of joy and satisfaction to anyone. I would highly recommend gardening, to young and old alike!
