Paragraph about weather: Plenty of sentences about weather!

So far today we have mainly focused on individual weather sentences. Now we will look up a whole paragraph about weather. If you didn’t know, I ( Elliott) am an English teacher. Plenty of my students have gotten assignments from other teachers, where they need to write paragraphs. Paragraphs on various topics. Recently one of them was given a paragraph to write about the weather. I showed them this one as an example, so they can make their own paragraph. I hope It’s useful for you too!

Just like there are many kinds of people, there are also many kinds of weather. I feel like it is wrong to say that cold weather is bad, or hot weather is bad. It really depends on the person. My friend Jake really loves the hot and humid summers. He feels relaxed and can do plenty of activities outdoors, such as swimming and surfing. On the other hand, my coworker Emma really likes very cold and dry weather. She is the exact opposite. When it’s cold and dry she likes to paint pictures with beautiful clear skies. In the summer it’s too hazy so the landscapes don’t look as crisp. I’m sure you also know people who like different types of weather. As for me, I like all seasons because each of them has good points. For example, where I live in autumn, we get lots of vegetables. In summer we get lots of fruit. So, each season has something to offer.
